About Lori Graham
Lori Graham, founder of Lori Graham Design, a Washington, D.C.-based interior design firm with clients nationwide, combines a head for business with a flair for design. Metropolitan Home’s 2007 “Who’s Next” issue featured one of Lori’s projects on the cover and identified Lori as one of the top five (5) “up and coming” interior designers in the United States.
Lori has been lauded in the press for her ability to marry “old world charm with urban flair,” and for her use of “fresh colors, layers of texture and modern materials.” Lori’s conceptual approach to client-driven-design, ensures a living space that is customized, a tad edgy, and always comfortable. Lori combines architectural detail, mix of materials, attention to scale and a refined sense of color to create aesthetically and practically perfect settings.
Lori’s interiors often incorporate designs from her custom product line, LG Place. These unique pieces are based in classic design, but are conceived through a modern lens with regard to detail and finish. And, as with all her designs, each item is constructed to be both stylish and practical.
“I love collaborating with clients and really enjoy making the design process fun and rewarding for all of us,” Lori says. “And clients appreciate my personalized approach to each project, as well as my dedication to completing projects on time and within budget.”
Lori lives in Washington DC with her husband, Richard Berman, and their two dogs, Voltaire and Camus. Lori holds a law degree from Georgetown University, a MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from The University of Tulsa.
