About Lori Graham
Lori Graham, founder of Lori Graham Design, a Washington DC based interior design firm with clients nationwide, combines a head for business with a flair for design. Lori is often lauded for her ability to marry “old warm charm with urban flair,” and for her use of “fresh colors, layers of texture and mix of modern materials.” Her interiors are described by clients as “chic yet comfortable,” or as Lori likes to say, “SoHo-Boho.”
In 2007, Lori was named one of 5 designers and architects nationwide designated by Metropolitan Home magazine as a leading young designer when one of her projects landed the cover of the magazine’s “Who’s Next” issue. Since then, Lori’s work has been featured in multiple national and regional publications.
Most recently, Lori launched a luxury home furnishings showroom on DC’s bustling 14th Street – Lori Graham Home. The showroom represents several boutique lines, such as London-based Ochre and Los Angeles based Shine by SHO and also features Lori’s own custom home furnishings collection – LG Place. With fine modern art provided through Contemporary Wing and an extensive vintage furnishings collection curated by Michael Johnson of SIXTEEN FIFTY NINE, the showroom accurately reflects Lori’s comfortably chic aesthetic.
Lori studied art history and design at Georgetown University and the Corcoran School of Art, respectively. She also holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, an MSc. from the London School of Economics, and a BA in philosophy from the University of Tulsa. Prior to design, Lori practiced law in Washington DC and credits her legal career for the precision and professionalism with which she approaches her projects.
Lori lives in Logan Circle with her two dogs, Camus and Milton Friedman.
